Switched over to these purple FT77 film discs for auto body prep. Ceramic grain cuts smooth and leaves consistent scratch pattern. The film backing resists tearing even when I’m working on curved panels. Dust removal is impressive with all those holes. Hook‑and‑loop sticks tight to the pad. Only small downside: they cost a bit more than basic paper discs, but they last way longer so cost per job ends up better. Great for primer and clear‑coat prep for shop or serious DIY.

The paper fit up perfectly to my Makita sander, I used the 80 grit on some body work. I was able to get the smooth even finish just like I was expecting. This was the last step in sanding after doing some welding and I like the 6” sander to get a larger flat area over using the grinder alone.

Good value for a pack this size. I needed a low‑grit disc to smooth some wide boards that couldn’t go through the planer, and these handled it without clogging or burning. They remove material at a pretty good pace while not getting oit of control. They were especially useful for knocking down some very rough glue joints on the underside of a table top and saved me a fair bit of hand‑planing. They fit my 6 inch sander properly, and the larger surface area makes the work go much faster than my 5 inch setup. The hole pattern allowed my dust collection to work effectively too. They held up well and worked consistently across the whole project. Solid buy.
