What grit should I use for primer sanding with film discs?

220–320 Grit for standard primer sanding before base coat. Use the FF78 at 220–320 Grit for fast primer removal and leveling. Use the FT77 at 320–400 Grit for the final primer sand before base coat. For high-build primer, start at 180 Grit with the FF78, then finish at 320 Grit with the FT77.

How do I use the SpotFix discs for dust nib removal?

Attach a SpotFix disc to a 1-1/4 inch PSA backing plate on a spot polisher (Flex XCE 10-8, Rupes iBrid Nano LHR75E) or use by hand. Sand only the defect with light pressure. Start at 2000 Grit for larger nibs, 3000 Grit for smaller ones. After cutting flat, blend with 5000 Grit and polish the spot with a foam disc to restore gloss.
